Besides, sport in general ,football in particular have emerged as a single unifying factor, even in the moment of political, ethnic and socio-religious tension and feuds. Nations across the world have united behind this game. Football has bridged racial divide and brought people of other nation into a union of oneness.Cameroon is a blessed nation in terms of football. Manyu Division is one of the most talented football communities in Cameroon, but sufferers neglects. Football is a game that must be attached with tremendous dreams and opportunities. Dream Soccer Academy (DSA) is a non-Governmental, non- profit making, non-political and non religious, philanthropic Organization, self supported and self sponsored by Mr. Amadou Aminou and Mr. Sulemanu Dahiru (Brothers) based in Mamfe, South West Region, Cameroon and it commits itself to the development of a caring society for underprivileged children from 09 to 25 years of age. The academy is newly created in response to concerns about children’s soccer dreams, waist of talents, inadequate training facilities, poverty and development of soccer in Manyu Division, the South West Region and Cameroon as a whole. DSA is a unique project in the community of manyu, Africa in nature, and has a dream of providing soccer training, soccer discipline and other sports for young underprivileged talents in a good environment.
MAJOR OBJECTIVES OF DSA v Identifying soccer talents in young people and giving them a chance at making a career even away from our academy.v Engaging young people in physical and moral Education with a view to reducing crime rate, drug abuse as well as the fight against HIV/AIDS.v Training young people in the sustainable management of bio-diversities and environmental protection. |
Our Program
PROGRAMATION
We have two levels of trainings, these include;
1. Cadet:
This involves children from 09 to 16 years of age.
2. Junior: This involves the training of players from 16.5 to 25 years old, who are ready, will play for the academy’s club.
NB
Our training duration is 4 years maximum. Our number of trainees varies.
Number of training days and training periods
We train on; Mondays, through Fridays , and Saturdays mornings. The duration of training ranges from 2hrs to 3hrs maximum, starting from 3:30pm to 6pm.

OUR FOOTBALL FOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Most youths are ready to defy some of the challenges prevailing in the world today such as unemployment and economic hardship, which has reduced them to the level of desperation. Most of them have given up hopes and have buried their talents and indulge in activities such as drug abuse, prostitution, gansterism and banditry. It can therefore not be argued that idleness breeds crime and other numerous malpractices that can only lead to the destruction of individuals and their communities. In a Cameroonian context, there are numerous challenges still predominant in most of its townships;Buea , Douala, Kumba, Tiko, Limbe Bamenda...Mamfe etc ,Mamfe is a typical example. This is because the desire and zeal to conquer and be number one has unfortunately not been matched with opportunities and facilities to nurture their skills and talents. It is in this context that the management of Dreams Soccer Academy with registration number 987/MINSEP/DDSPE/M under the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education has created the Dream Soccer Academy (DSA) in pursuing its zeal to transform the lives of the budding underprivileged Cameroonian talents, to better their socio economic welfare. It is said‘’ the youths of today are the leaders of tomorrow “ , the future of every country and its related society lies in the youthful population thus investing in youths entails building a solid foundation for future leaders by maximizing their potentials. DSA is here to realize that in partnership with the Government as well as other stakeholders, so that young people especially the underprivileged can be given a chance of making it in life through sports, football in particular.

OUR ACTIVITIES
- We provide Soccer training, and sports.
- We provide Computer Basics training and maintenance
- We Provide Training in embroidery, Tailoring, Seamstress
- We provide Training In Hair Dressing.
- We provide Training In Driving.
- We sensitize farmers on modern techniques of Farming, especially in Cocoa Farming
- We also have a nursery , where we nurse; Oranges, Mangoes, Pineapples Cocoa and trees for planting...
DSA has successfully trained 8youths who have gained employed , under tailoring , hair dressing and computer training.
DSA has also succeeded in planting about 14 trees in 4 different primary school round Mamfe, for environmental protection.
DSA has assisted farmers through its practical works in spraying their cocoa farms, tilling of the soils and planting of seeds.
The Trainees take two hours everyday for sports especially football training, and 8hours of vocational training in any of the following fields. We have made computer and tailoring/embroidery compulsory to all trainees.This is because to gain employ with these skills is very easy.
DSA also serves as a rehabilitation center, for people involved in Drugs and other social ills.
Our instructors are experienced, fun to work with, and completely professional. Our facility features state-of-the-art equipment, beautiful training and consultation areas, and is clean and comfortable. Hope to see you soon!
